There is no need to panic! Though we begin accepting reservations in August, the hotels don’t receive our reservations until late February/early March. This allows us to offer flexible change and cancellation policies. If you need to change or cancel your reservation, this can only be done through SXSW Housing, not directly through the hotel (unless within 72 hours before your scheduled check-in).
To change an existing reservation:
- Use the Request for Change link located at the bottom of your reservation confirmation email or log in to the SXSW Cart that was used to purchase your registration.
- Follow the instructions in this FAQ to complete your change request.
