Why do some hotels require a minimum stay?

Most of our downtown hotels require a 3- or 4-night minimum length of stay during the peak event dates. This is a contractual agreement with the hotel, and cannot be changed.

If you only need to stay 1 or 2 nights, visit our Hotel Availability page to view each hotel’s policies under See All Amenities. If you have already made a reservation and need to shorten your stay, make sure to read your Reservation Agreement carefully, as your hotel may require a minimum length of stay.

Once you have checked-in, most hotels charge a penalty for checking-out before your scheduled departure date. Avoid this penalty by changing your check-out date at least 24 hours before checking into your hotel. If your hotel requires a minimum stay, you will be responsible for all nights required per your Reservation Agreement.
