Why do some hotels require a minimum stay?

Most downtown hotels require a 3 or 4 night minimum length of stay during peak event dates. This is a contractual agreement with the hotel, so if you only need to stay one or two nights please make sure to read your Reservation Agreement carefully. You can also view each hotel’s minimum stay via the See All Amenities links on the Hotel Availability page.

Most hotels charge a penalty for checking-out before your scheduled departure date once you have checked in. Avoid penalties by changing your check-out date at least 24 hours before checking into your hotel. If your hotel requires a minimum stay, you will be responsible for all nights required per your Reservation Agreement.
