No. SXSW provides a limited number of complimentary badges for accepted filmmakers to attend the festival. We do not cover any travel, accommodation costs, or other forms of remuneration. Once accepted, you will receive access to the filmmaker hotel block of rooms, which are sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. The SXSW discounted rate can only be booked via the SXSW Housing Department.
