In light of the large number of people on the streets and in attendance at SXSW, the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), such as a drone, will be prohibited at all official events, either by the venue owner or SXSW.
Anyone found trying to enter any venue, street closure, or official SXSW events with these devices will be refused access.
Exceptions may be made to selected SXSW exhibitors looking to demonstrate their technologies. This will be at the discretion of SXSW, its host venues and the City of Austin's public safety agencies.
Austin Police Department will be enforcing City Ordinances where they believe UASs are being used unsafely.
